I offer an intensive mentorship workshop for serious artists that want to improve their skills and create a finished portfolio piece. The course is 12 weeks and covers everything from initial concept design to modeling, texture, groom and lookdev, with the aim of creating a polished final render presentation.

The workshop can be suited for any skill level but artists will benefit from intermediate knowledge of common VFX applications and concepts. Software used includes Maya, ZBrush, Houdini, Mari and Nuke.

No two artists are the same and we can create a workshop suited to your interests and career goals.

Character or Creature Design

If you’re interested in honing your skills in creating creatures or characters this course is for you. Over 12 weeks we’ll go over every step and discipline in the process. This starts with concept art and proceeds to modeling, texture, groom and lookdev as well as costume design, procedural modeling, lighting, rendering and compositing a final presentation

Procedural Modeling in Houdini

Houdini is very powerful tool that allows an artist to create incredibly complex models that would be impossible using traditional techniques. This can give an artist a tremendous edge professionally and when searching for a job. However, Houdini is famously difficult to learn and my course will help to simplify and quickly get you up to speed in a fraction of the time it would take to learn on your own.

Beginner Workshop
